"We ended up eating three times in this restaurant. The food was great and the setting, in the hills above Cabuérniga in Cantabria, was beautiful. And we found the service outstanding, with the owner as friendly and helpful as you could possibly hope for (she told us on one visit that all her tables were reserved and then went on,"let me see where I can put you" - which turned out to be somewhere comfortable and attractive). The waiters were as friendly as she was. When it comes to the food, the local specialty is 'Cocido Montañes', and hers is excellent. But we also had some excellent other dishes, and nothing we ate there disappointed us. We also found the prices reasonable. We'll certainly go back if we're on holiday in the area again."

"Great place for traditional spanish food, the bean stew is awesome! Location is a bit away from everything, but it offers a fantastic view of the mountains."
